WIN AN OUTDOOR CINEMA EXPERIENCE THIS SUMMER
Bound together by lifelong friendship, triumphs, tribulations and a few pints of Tribute, the Fisherman’s Friends have been singing traditional songs of the sea, in Port Isaac, for over two decades.
The Fisherman’s Friends will be performing in-front of the incredible backdrop at Watergate Bay whilst the sunsets before their namesake film is beamed onto the big screen.
Prize includes:
- A car space to see The Fisherman’s Friends Movie at Wavelength’s drive-in cinema on the 16th August (with some beers and burgers served up by our friends at WAX Watergate Bay)
- Two cases of Tribute Ale (24 x 500ml bottles)
- A film poster signed by the Fisherman’s Friends
Fisherman’s Friends The Movie follows a fast-living, cynical London music executive (Danny Mays) heads to a remote Cornish village on a stag weekend where he’s pranked by his boss (Noel Clarke) into trying to sign a group of shanty-singing fishermen (led by James Purefoy). He becomes the ultimate ‘fish out of water’ as he struggles to gain the respect or enthusiasm of the unlikely boy band and their families (including Tuppence Middleton) who value friendship and community over fame and fortune. As he’s drawn deeper into the traditional way of life he’s forced to re-evaluate his own integrity and ultimately question what success really means.
